SOFTBALL - BASEBAL - T-BALL - ADULT LEAGUE DIRECTOR
The Salem Parks and Recreation Department is seeking
applications for league directors for the 2008 Baseball/Softball/T-Ball
season. |
Job description for directors include the following
duties:
-
Field
preparation and up-keep
-
Schedule games
-
Arrange umpires
and scorekeepers
-
Coaching appointments and screenings
-
Issue
equipment and up keep
of inventory
-
Be present at each game or supply
a representative
-
Enforcing and informing proper behavior and
rules at
the fields
-
Required to attend Salem Babe Ruth monthly
and district
meetings
-
Report incidents of vandalism and disciplinary
actions to
the Parks and Recreation Department with in 24
hours
-
Attend Babe Ruth
Clinics
and keep current on rules and regulations,
-
Submit payroll bi-weekly on provided forms
-
Enforce and over
see regulations
for underage
workers
-
Order equipment and
supplies through the
Parks and recreation Office
Applications may be picked-up at the Salem
Parks and Recreation Office.
