The mission of the Humane Society of Washington County is to protect animals from abuse and neglect; to reduce pet overpopulation through education; responsible pet ownership and active spay/neuter programs; to advocate for their welfare through community relations programs and services, to encourage and respect the animal/human bond; and to promote compassion for all living things.
